Sarah Bartels
Sarah Bartels is an amazing barber with nearly 20 years in the beauty industry. Not only is she a fantastic cosmetologist, but she is also a great wife and mom. Growing up, she always wanted to be a hairstylist. She was able to fulfill this dream in 2003, when she graduated from Moler Beauty College, with a cosmetology license. She was a hairstylist for 6 years, until she decided that she needed a change of pace, she wanted to become a barber. While in barbering school, she learned her adoration for cutting men's hair. In 2009, she graduated from Stephenson's College of Barbery, with her barbering license. She has loved barbering ever since she became a barber, and has been in practice for 13 years. Barbering is her passion and she not only loves cutting hair, but she also loves getting to know her clients on a personal basis. Her main goal as a barber is for her clients to step out of her chair with a smile on their face.

I'm a New Orleans East native, recently re-transplanted from a stint in NYC, who enjoys positive vibes and interesting conversation. Referred to as "Mv Brother's Keeper" by my friends, I view barbering as an expression of art. The people I meet and the stories I encounter through this profession are easily the best parts of my day. Since coming back to the Big Easy, you can probably find me sending some boulders at NOBL, shooting a round of 18 at the course, or chilling in a hammock at City Park. Come chop it up with me, and don't forget to bring the good vibes.

Good Vibes Barbershop is a humble, 3 chair barbershop that boasts a full offering of men’s grooming services. Located just a couple blocks from the St. Charles street car line on Adams St., Good Vibes Barbershop is situated in a vibrant uptown neighborhood surrounded by local shops, restaurants, and cafes. The good vibes that flow throughout the neighborhood and are embodied inside our shop. Part museum, part man cave, Good Vibes Barbershop has everything you need to keep you in good spirits during your visit and will leave you smiling long after you’ve left with your fresh cut.
